Black Mountain (9,083') - June 1, 2006

Black Mountain is the lowest and southern-most peak in the White Mountains. What it lacks in elevation, it more than makes up in incredible views of the Palisades and the Owens Valley. Unfortunately for us, though, the day we hiked it, the air was somewhat hazy, so the pictures weren't as good as they could be, but it was still a highly enjoyable hike.
