Ode on a Grecian Wedding

Thou blissful island in a faraway land,
Made of black rock and whitewash o're sea.
Where my lover will take my hand
In an intimate ceremony of glee.
Santorini: the place to say my vows.

Oh happy, wonderous day!
For a promise to Jon I will make
We'll live and love and play
On that my word he can take
For we are not trapped on an urn.

My inspiration for this parody poem is Ode on a Grecian Urn by John Keats.
